we went on the trails up some local mountain this morning, called Opsan. took a ton of photographs, rode the gondola for some aerial shots and picked up some vendor food. for somebody who hasn't gone running and who's been smoking like a chimney, the trek was horrific. but since i'm no longer around smokers, i'm cutting back. still haven't opened my newest pack! who am i kidding. i'm not fuckin' quitting.
anyways, the photos will be up later tonight. i need to brighten some of them up and quite frankly, i feel like beating this stupid mario game.
and a special shout to Olson, who's in Afghanistan and likes pretty hispanic girls :)

I wish it would have been. It was baked chicken, rice, and carrots for me. It wasn't worth the long walk, but a man must eat. I can't wait to get back to the states where I can make my own food or go get fast food when I am being lazy. Trust me, my brain isn't that big or I am not that smart. The things I did before coming into the Army damaged it beyond repair.

ReplyDeletei just recently got into cooking and i LOVE it. still doing simple things, like i just made some tuna mushroom casserole stuff, but it's fun cus its new :)
and i'd say you're pretty brainy. otherwise we wouldn't talk so much lol
You have to start simple before you can get comfortable enough to work up to recipes. But once you get comfortable with that, you realize that all you have to do is follow the directions. Then once you get to the Pro stages, then you start creating you own shit. That is when you feel like a straight pimp and make cooking your bitch. Sorry, I get that excited about cooking. My favorite dish to make for myself is bean and ham soup. I think that I am tired cause I am rambling on.
